Documentary Films on Church Creation Care Practices

abstract of people walking through gate with open armsGod created all things and called them good, but how do we as Christians live into his reality? What are the congregational practices that fit with a very good creation?

The Ekklesia Project, a gathering of Christians called to live into God’s reconciling kingdom, has called on Christian communities to share their creation care practices with the world through short documentary films. Each short film shares the unique and creative work the community is doing to work toward the flourishing of creation. These films have been selected for showing at the Ekklesia Project’s annual gathering in Chicago. Our communities are called to good and creative work to serve and keep the creation. We look forward to sharing  creation care practices of these communities with the wider Christian Church!

The following communities shared their videos at the gathering:

Abundant Table, Catholic Committee of Appalachia, Church of the Brethren, Cornerstone Edibles (Cornerstone UMC), Covenant Community Garden, Delta Community Christian Church, Eden Vigil, Englewood, Messiah College.
